It’s a virtual world in which varied characters interact one another, everybody representing a player. The World of Warcraft phenomenon could be influencing folks in a more delicate way than we think. Yes, there were some cases of death (allegedly) due to over-exposure to WoW, but what’s even more annoying is that folk are starting to spend significant sums of money for this game.

Basically, the main source of earning money in WOW is gold and to do this, one must undertake quests and interact with the other characters, whether human or non-human or NPCs. And because there is a demand, there are individuals online who sell WoW gold for real currency and these sites and persons make significant money out of such endeavors.

WoW may only be a game but it seems many people are willing to treat it like their reality.
